About Tony Attardo
Tony Attardo is a photographer based in Hudson, NH. He is passionate about using his camera to reflect the lives of ordinary people as they engage in everyday activities.
Growing up in a city neighborhood where large families of multiple ethnicities were the norm –shaped his photographic vision and became his first photographic subject matter. Tony’s images are crafted to express the honor and dignity of those he photographs by capturing moments, settings and objects that define who they are and how they live.
Tony continues storytelling from a personal perspective through his current work by creating images that pay tribute to the skill, creativity, and profession of those who work with their hands. His work is aimed at changing the narrative about a subject.
He has studied at the New England School of Photography, the New Hampshire Institute of Art, and the Photography Atelier at the Griffin Museum of Photography.
Tony has explored diverse projects from NASCAR auto racing to the cityscapes of Boston and New York, to the street photography of the ‘Corner Store’ and recently a local bicycle non-profit.
